Meet Joanna Rostanska
“I love painting, and in it, beautiful, strong, and pure colors. I spent many years in Mexico, where there's always plenty of sunshine, the light is perfect, and there's a wealth of color all around. That's why color plays the most important role in my work. I like pure and warm colors. The subject matter itself is also important to me, but it comes second to color.
Oil painting has always been my favorite technique, but I'm now interested in other techniques, such as pastels, acrylics, and watercolors. They also produce interesting results.”-Joanna Rostanska, 1st Place winner of the “Colorful Expressions” Online Exhibition
