About the Program
CEV Art Gallery Residency Program is a creative leadership experience designed to equip emerging visual artists with the skills, insight, and confidence to navigate the professional art world beyond the canvas.
Each year, selected residents gain exclusive behind-the-scenes exposure to gallery operations, learning firsthand what it takes to curate an exhibition, serve as an art juror, and manage artist relations.
Through guided mentorship, virtual collaboration, and direct participation in CEV Art Gallery programming, residents explore the curatorial process from concept to showcase. This program fosters artistic growth, leadership readiness, and community engagement—all within a supportive creative ecosystem built for artists, by artists.

Program Details
Time Commitment: Up to 40 hours during Q1
Format: Virtual experience (Zoom interviews, gallery mentorship, digital collaboration)
Compensation: Volunteer-based (educational, non-paid)
Selection Process: Application review + 10–15 minute Zoom interview with the Founder or Gallery Director
Eligibility: Emerging visual artists eager to gain curatorial and gallery leadership experience
Podcast Feature Opportunity: Residents may be invited to participate in the Creatively Enhanced Podcast for a special roundtable discussion highlighting their insights, creative growth, and experiences during the program.
End-of-Residency Recognition
Residents who complete the program receive:
An official Certificate of Completion
A professional letter of recommendation
