Curiosity, Creativity, and the Power of Teaching Through Art

A Creative Spirit Born in the Desert

Christian Lubarsky-Ford was born and raised in the vibrant city of Phoenix, Arizona. From a young age, he was captivated by the world around him—always asking questions, exploring new ideas, and searching for deeper meaning in everyday life. This deep curiosity naturally flowed into his love for art, sparking a lifelong journey of creating landscapes and figurative works that reflect the same philosophical wonder that first inspired him.

Shaping a Creative Path

Christian’s passion for art led him to pursue formal education at Arizona State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. During his studies, he refined his skills in both drawing and painting, gaining technical mastery and a strong artistic voice. He also began sharing his knowledge with others, co-leading a children’s art workshop where he taught middle school students the fundamentals of drawing and painting. This early experience would lay the foundation for the next chapter of his creative career.

Art and Education: A Dual Calling

Today, Christian is pursuing a Master’s degree in Art Education while teaching high school art in the Phoenix area. His dual roles as an artist and educator reflect a unique balance of creation and mentorship. While painting continues to be a central part of his life, Christian has found profound fulfillment in guiding the next generation of artists. Passing on his love for the arts, he says, has given him a deeper sense of purpose that complements his passion for creating.
